I own Elevated Pulse Productions, a luxury wedding DJ and production company working on both coasts, in Orange County and in Boston and New England. Like most DJ companies, we ran on a stack: Dubsado for bookings, DJ Intelligence for music, QuickBooks for the books, a scheduler for Instagram, and a virtual assistant copying things between them.
Every tool worked well enough by itself, but none of them could see the others. We stayed on top of every detail, but it took a lot of work in between: the same names, dates and songs entered in several places, and somebody keeping them all in step.
So I built Pulse Planner, with all of it in one place, and moved my own company onto it. Because it's one system, each part can use what the others already know. The planning form a couple fills in becomes their DJ's run sheet for the night. The photos from that night become next week's Instagram post, and the caption can draw on the couple's planning form and the vendors they named. A payment books the event and lands in the books on its own.
Every feature was tested the same way: a made-up couple, a planner and a DJ each walked the whole booking through the real software, and every email was read before any real couple saw one.
Now I'm opening it to a small number of DJ companies who run their events the way we do. If that's you, I'd like to show you around myself.
